Pastor Buddy originally came to Wards Creek Church as the Interim Pastor in October of 2005. In February of 2006 we asked to become the Senior Pastor here. We have seen a spiritual and numerical re-growth of our church family, and we are excited about all that God is doing. He is a native Floridian. He was born in Jacksonville, and grew up in Orange Park. He and his two sisters were fortunate to grow up in a godly home. His dad was a Baptist Pastor in Jacksonville and Green Cove Springs. He and his lovely wife Amy have been married for almost 16 years, and they have four wonderful children together. They live in the St. Augustine area not too far from the church. They met at a Church Christmas Party on a blind-date. They like all kinds of music and enjoy going to the movies every now and then when they get the time. We are not a "traditional church", but we are also not a "contemporary" church. We are happy that God has allowed us to be somewhere in the middle. I believe that there is a church family for everyone, and we hope we can help you to determine where you belong. The Bible is our book, and Jesus is our Lord. We have programs and opportunities for people of all ages. We'd love for you to come by for a visit and see what we are all about. |
